Union City Art Gallery at City Hall

 
Union City Mayor Brian P. Stack and the Board of Commissioners announce that the City of Union City will host their March art exhibit at the Union City Art Gallery at City Hallwith an opening reception on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 6:00 PM.  
 
The art exhibit will feature artists Carmen Garcia and Ramon Guerrero. Union City Art Gallery curator, Amado Mora and the Union City Artist Collective, is organizing the event  Refreshments will be served and admission to the event is free.
 
The Union City Gallery at City Hall is dedicated to giving local artists a free space to showcase their art as well as to continue the City’s mission of encouraging more art in the City and improving the quality of life of all its residents.  The Gallery will feature different artists in monthly exhibits.  Artists that would like to be included in future exhibits should contact the Union City Office of Public Affairs at 201-348-5746 for more details. The entire community is invited to attend this wonderful event. Support art, local artists, and beautify our community.
 

The James Austin Trio in Concert
 
The City of Union City, Mayor Brian P. Stack & Board of Commissioners, and The Union City Performing Arts Center proudly presents The James Austin Trio in concert, an evening of live jazz music on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the Union City Performing Arts Center, 2500 Kennedy Boulevard, Union City, New Jersey. Admission is free and parking is available at the 23rd Street Parking Deck located on 23rd Street between Summit & Kerrigan Avenues.

Union City Observes Women’s History Month
 
Mayor Brian P. Stack and the Board of Commissioners announce that the City of Union City will be holding a special event in observance of Women’s History Month on Saturday, March 24th, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the William V. Musto Cultural Center, 420 – 15th Street, Union City.

Refreshments will be served and attendees will have the opportunity of speaking with all the performing artists, as well as visiting the various exhibits throughout the museum.
