Live On Stage at Pastore Music

As part of Pastore Music’s commitment to live music, it has initiated “Live on Stage at Pastore's”, a monthly live music show at its main location at 507 - 32nd Street, Union City, New Jersey hosted by Lucio Fernandez.

“We are going to feature local groups and up coning talent and occasionally have more established group” according to Jerry Pastore the 3rd generation owner of the store that was established in 1939. Our next event is on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 3:00 PM at that time we will have live music and a ribbon cutting ceremony that will be attended by dignitaries.

The first “Live on Stage at Pastore's” was kicked off on Wednesday October 19, 2016. The FLYERS, in their 3 night New York City tour in October of 2016, made their first stop at Pastore Music in Union City. Patrick Farinas the group’s leader has had a lifelong relationship with the store pre-dating to his father’s musical roots in Union City in the 1970’s. Jordan and Joe were introduced on this trip and quickly became part of the family. Pastore provided the band with the musical instruments and gear they needed for their shows. The Flyers stuck around for an in-store demo of some of the vintage gear, which gave great inspiration to play the next few nights in the city. The tour concluded at The Bitter End in the village where they played to a packed house of family, friends, fans, and fellow musicians, including Will Lee, Bernard Purdy and Oz Noy.
